The International Media of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has launched a new Urdu page to its website.
Head of International Media, Hassan al-Joboury, said, “The Urdu page was added to the International Media website alongside the Arabic, English, French and Persian pages.”
“Our aim is to introduce and disseminate the Husseini culture to all the Urdu-speaking countries namely Pakistan and India in addition to the millions living in other countries. The Urdu website will be covering jurisprudential, doctrinal and intellectual subjects in addition to daily news from the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein,” added al-Joboury.
From his part, Hassan Musa, supervisor of International Media’s Urdu page, mentioned, “The new website came after repeated requests from our Urdu-speaking brothers and sisters to launch an all-Urdu website that will stand together with the shrine’s official Urdu website.”
Since 2013, the International Media has been issuing ‘Roza Husseiny’, an Urdu seasonal magazine that is printed and published in Pakistan and India.
