SG of Imam Ali Holy Shrine announces opening date of Ameer al-Mumineen Hospital

The Secretary General of Imam Ali Holy Shrine, Sayyed Nizar Hashim Habl al-Mateen has announced the opening date of Imam Ali Hospital in Najaf.

"At the end of 2017, we will open Imam Ali Specialized Hospital after achieving the preparations of the hospital,” said Sayyed Habl al-Mateen.

He explained, "the construction work in the hospital has been finalized and we are now equipping the medical devices and preparing the medical staff for the management of the hospital.”

Imam Ali Holy Shrine has communicated with the concerned authorities to prepare the medical staff.

The hospital will provide medical and health services to the employees of Imam Ali Holy Shrine, displaced and poor families."

From his part, project engineer Haider Ihsan Hashem, stated, "Imam Ali Hospital project is one of the vital projects for all Iraqis as well as pilgrims. The hospital's area is ​​2.8 hectares and consists of 220 patient beds.”

Below is the breakdown for each floor:

Ground Floor: Medical and therapeutic care services, radiology and emergency and all the necessary supplies for the reception of patients.

First Floor: Specialties, consulting clinics, dentistry, management and a conference room for 450 people.

Second Floor: Operating rooms, maternity ward and intensive care.

Third Floor: Non-therapeutic services represented by doctors' restaurant, public restaurant, mosque, medical treatment rooms and special rooms for electrical systems and cooling.

Fourth Floor: Obstetrics and gynecology, general and internal surgery, neonatal intensive care unit.

Fifth Floor: Orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, cardiovascular and kidney, nose, ear, throat and internal diseases.

 

Sixth Floor: VIP halls with a hall doctors, rest and stay of resident doctors.
