Religious institute in Karbala attracts students from different countries

Warith al-Anbiya Institute for Preachers of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine offers courses in religious studies for Iraqi, Arab, and foreign students.

The student must be 15-30 years old to register to the three-year course held in Arabic, English, and Persian.

The institute now has over 10 students from Nigeria, 10 students from Ivory Coast, and some students from Mali joining soon, in addition to many Iraqis.  

The course focuses on Quran recitation and interpretation, Islamic beliefs, jurisprudence, and biographies of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.

The institute covers all of the students’ expenses including visa, food and accommodation.
