Chief Cleric of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and representative of the Supreme Religious Authority Sheikh Abdul-Mehdi al-Karbalaey said, “The military battle against ISIS is over, but the intellectual war is not over yet.”
This remark came during a meeting with a delegation from the Iraqi Teachers Syndicate.
His Eminence also mentioned that ISIS failed to target the genuine Islamic principles, pointing out the teacher’s role in society and the significance of facing such organizations that strive to defame the reputation of Islam.
