Under the auspices of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and with the participation of the holy shrines of Imam Ali, al-Abbas, Kadhumiya, Askariya, Imam Redha, Sayyida Zainab and the Shia Holy Shrines, the second International Conference for Holy Shia Shrines and Sites in the Islamic World was launched in Karbala on April 26, 2017.
The conference aims at unifying the efforts of all the holy shrines to achieve the common goals through deepening the lofty concepts of the Holy Quran and the pure biography of the Ahlulbayt and adopting this as a permanent approach to their work of serving and protecting the pilgrim as well as the holy shrine.
A memorandum of understanding that includes the rights of the beloved pilgrim, the holy shrine and the pilgrimage were presented to the representatives of the holy shrines.
