The British capital witnessed, on Saturday Oct 8, a silent march rejecting the terrorist attacks that targeted the country this year, and a demonstration against racism and Islamophobia.

According to the Anatolia correspondent, the British right-wing Football Lad Alliance (FLA) organized the march in London against what it called "extremism" in reference to the terrorist attacks in the country this year.

About 30,000 people marched in front of Hyde Park and headed for the Westminster Bridge, which witnessed the first terrorist attacks in Britain on March 22. Protesters held a minute of silence on the lives of those who lost their lives in terrorist attacks.

John Meghan, 32, a Tottenham Hotspur fan, founded the seventy-thousand-member Football Alliance on June 24 following the June 3 London Bridge attack.

Many members from well-known organizations participated and waved banners reading "No to Islamophobia.
