The Supreme Religious Authority His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Sistani has written a letter honoring the unforgettable martyrs, showing the greatness of their status, and praying for them.
The letter reads:
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful,
“The martyrs of the sufficient duty of defense call have a great right upon all of us and a high position for which they are envied. I ask the Almighty Allah to join them with the supporters of Imam al-Hussein (peace be upon him).”
