The Permanent Committee for the Holy Shrines in the Islamic World Conference held its periodical meeting to discuss and activate the provisions of the “Karbala Statement” in the Iranian capital of Tehran.
The conference witnessed the participation of the holy shrines in Iraq, Iran, Syrian and Lebanon and discussed the important points of the “Karbala Statement”, which was issued last year in the first conference in Maysan, Iraq.
Representative of the President of Shia Endowment Sayyid Musa al-Khilkhali said, “The meeting discussed the resolutions of the subcommittees held in Karbala to follow up the most important paragraphs included in the statement to provide the best services to pilgrims.”
“The respected delegates agreed on several things that aim to serve the pilgrims including the opening of a family counseling center,” added al-Khilkhali.
