Imam Hussein Holy Shrine announced achieving advanced stages of for the underground walkway in front of the holy shrine’s main gate (Bab al-Qiblah).
“It is approximately 70 meters long and five meters deep,” said the chief engineer.
The walkway will be opened during the massive pilgrimages to facilitate the passage of pilgrims.
